Introduction

Lucas York Black (born November 29, 1982) is an American film and TV entertainer. He is most popular for his jobs in the CBS TV series American Gothic (1995–1996), and Special Agent Christopher LaSalle on CBS's NCIS: New Orleans (2014–2019). 


Early life

Dark was brought into the world in Decatur, Alabama, to Jan Gillespie, an office laborer, and Larry Black, a historical center representative. He has two more established kin and was raised a Southern Baptist. He experienced childhood in Speake, Alabama, played football for the Speake Bobcats, and moved on from secondary school in May 2001.


Carrer

He hence was given a role as Caleb Temple in CBS's TV series American Gothic, which ran from 1995 to 1996, and in the movies Sling Blade, Ghosts of Mississippi.

Dark assumed a supporting part as Oakley in the chronicled dramatization Cold Mountain (2003). In 2004, he featured as Vernon, a mentally unbalanced piano wonder, in the non mainstream melodic show Killer Diller (2004), and as Mike Winchell in the football-themed dramatization Friday Night Lights (2004), coordinated by Peter Berg.

Dark featured as Buddy in the nonmainstream show Get Low (2009), coordinated by Aaron Schneider; as Jeep Hanson in the Bible-themed dream thrill ride Legion (2010); and as Luke Chisholm, a gifted youthful golf player set on making the professional visit, in the independent hitting the fairway film Seven Days in Utopia (2010).



He depicted the Brooklyn Dodgers shortstop Pee Wee Reese in the dramatization film 42 (2013). Dark, having done past sports films and played games right off the bat in his life, observed the shooting experience "much more charming in light of the fact that you get to think back with regards to the days when I used to play, and afterward you get the experience of being in a group again with the entertainers and have that brotherhood with the players".

In 2014, Lucas has projected in NCIS: New Orleans as NCIS Special Agent LaSalle, a straightforward specialist with a "practice work-life balance" aphorism.

In 2015, Black got back to play Sean Boswell in an appearance in Furious 7. Sean didn't show up in the eighth portion, The Fate of the Furious, and in July 2016, Black clarified on The Chris Mannix Show that he was unable to return because of his timetable with NCIS: New Orleans.

In November 2019, Black left the series NCIS: New Orleans to dedicate more opportunity to his family.

He additionally got back to the Fast and Furious establishment, playing a supporting part as Sean in F9 in 2021.


Personal life
Dark wedded Maggie O'Brien, a legal advisor, in 2010. They have three youngsters. After he left NCIS New Orleans he began to transfer fishing recordings to YouTube.
